We may also collect standard technical information automatically when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, through standard web hosting logs processed by our hosting provider, Google Firebase Hosting.

- To evaluate your application and contact you about joining our team
- To follow up regarding your interest in working with Malachite
- To communicate information relevant to the hiring process
- To improve our site and recruitment process
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
3. How we store and protect your information
Application submissions are transmitted securely and stored in our recruiting system, which runs on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore). Google encrypts data in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to Malachite staff involved in hiring.
We retain application data for as long as necessary to evaluate your application and maintain our hiring records. If you would like your information removed, contact us using the information at the bottom of this page.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Cookies and tracking
This site uses minimal or no cookies beyond those required for basic site operation. We do not use advertising tracking pixels, retargeting cookies, or behavioral analytics tools. Our hosting and form infrastructure (Google Firebase) may set cookies for performance and security purposes as part of its standard operation.
5. Third-party services
This site uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:
- Google Firebase, our host and the secure processor and store for applications: policies.google.com/privacy
We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics platform, and this site loads no third-party fonts or advertising scripts.
6. Your rights
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
